“NFL News: Tennessee Titans Adding Two Strong Former Vols to Roster”

The Titans had an outstanding draft last week where they obtained several great players like offensive tackle JC Latham out of Alabama and defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat out of Texas.

General Manager Ran Carthon and Head Coach Brian Callahan have been hard at work in this offseason making moves that will help lead the team to success. That is crystal clear after the great picks that they chose in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Their work did not conclude once the draft wrapped up. They went out and signed a few undrafted free agents. This decision was a solid one because they signed a few in-state choices right out of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

The players coming to play for the Titans from the Volunteers are defensive back Gabe Jeudy-Lally and running back Jabari Small.

If you ask any Tennessee Volunteers football fan if these players made an impact during their time playing for the Vols, you’ll be met with a resounding yes.

Titans’ Jabari Small

What to know about Tennessee Vols football running back Jabari Small

Small is not defined by his last name. He is a quick and elusive power back who can get his team tough yards when they need it most. He is 5’11, 214 pounds and is a tremendously hard worker.

In his career at Tennessee, Small ran for 2,118 yards and averaged five yards per carry. He also ran for 24 touchdowns as a Vol while never fumbling a single time.

He played alongside former Tennessee running back Jaylen Wright who was drafted 120th overall to the Miami Dolphins in this year’s draft. Small was ranked just outside the top-30 running backs in the draft but he is still getting a chance at the pro level with the Tennessee Titans. Small definitely has what it takes to help the Titans succeed this next season.

Titans’ Gabe Jeudy-Lally

Jeudy-Lally is a great defensive back who is ready to show the NFL that they messed up not drafting him.

Before coming to Tennessee, Jeudy-Lally played college football for BYU and Vanderbilt before transferring to UT. While playing for Tennessee, Jeudy-Lally recorded 36 tackles, four tackles for a loss, one sack, one interception, five pass deflections and one forced fumble.

He is primed and ready to get his chance in the pros and hopefully will do everything in his power to prove he deserves to be there.

From the 865 to the 615, these former Vols and ready to show why Tennessee football just means more.
