The Indianapolis Colts off-season programming will continue this week.
As rookies and veterans with the teams prepare for the 2024 NFL season.
The first day back in the office for veteran Colts players was April 15th. The next scheduled event of the offseason was just for the team’s rookies for their Mandatory Rookie Minicamp, which began on May 10th and ran through May 12th.
The Colts’ rookies got their first work with their new veteran teammates on during the first set of OTA practices, which began on Tuesday, May 21st, and ended Thursday, May 23rd. The team has had a brief break since that practice concluded but will begin their next set of scheduled OTA practices/workouts this week.
The team is scheduled to continue their OTA sessions this Wednesday, May 29th, and will meet three consecutive days, which is scheduled to be completed on Friday, May 31st. These practices and reps are invaluable for many of the young Colts players as well as players whose roster spots are far from guaranteed come roster cut-down day. Taking this time as seriously as possible can help players hit the road running once the team’s Training Camp kicks off later this Summer, but it also will help them impress during the team’s Mandatory Minicamp that is scheduled to begin on June 4th and finish on June 6th.
